Bardsey, Apuldram

Bardsey is a luxurious modern cottage in a discreet rural setting. It is the smallest of a cluster of four newly built bespoke Orchard Cottages and is a lovely retreat for anytime of year.

Compact but perfectly proportioned, Bardsey is light, airy and immaculate throughout.

The open plan ground floor includes a living room with smart TV and a wood-burner stove supplied with a basket of logs. Full-length windows open onto a patio with privacy screens, and beyond is the shared pasture garden. The surrounding grounds evoke the area's orchard and farming heritage.

The kitchen-dining area is well-stocked with equipment and tableware. There is a separate utility room, a cloakroom, and throughout there is generous storage for luggage stowaway.

It sleeps four with two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have inset window seats, one also has a Juliet balcony overlooking the garden and countryside beyond. They share a beautifully finished bathroom with tiled floor and shower drench within the bath.

Bardsey is temperate and perfectly insulated for summer and winter stays. It has wooden floors throughout with an underfloor heating system.
